Inspiron 15 7000 - sleep mode issue
This system is less than a week old.
When I put it to sleep and then come back to it, the wireless network is disconnected and cannot be seen by the system. I have other systems on the network without issue, including an E1705 from 2006. The new system has to be rebooted to see the network and reconnect. Is this a known issue or do I have a one-off problem?
Thanks for any assistance.

Hi,
Which wireless card do you have in that system? It could be that the power setting on that card is blocking it from going into "sleep" mode correctly. Depending on which make and model of wireless card you have, you can go into the properties setting (probably advanced) and check / change the power settings and see if that helps.
This link refers to issues with wireless cards after upgrading to Windows 10 where the wireless card is no longer recognized by the system. Not sure if, from what you said, that the card can't be seen or that you can't see any wireless networks, but I wanted to link it to you just in case.
Let us know if it doesn't and, if so, let us know which card and driver is on that system. (I'm assuming since it's only a week old you have Windows 10 on it).
