Hello all, I just recently purchased a new Dell computer and it arrived this past Friday. Once I got everything assembled and turned on, I started having problems connecting to the internet. I have Comcast and have a modem from the wall to the computer. The internet will work fine for a few minutes, but then it stops working for a few minutes. When it is working, it works a lot slower than what I have been used to from the laptop running XP.
This is my first experience with Windows Vista, so I'm not sure if there are some settings that are not active coming from the factory to use the internet. I called comcast today and they confirmed it is not coming from their side. It is only from the XPS 630 desktop with vista I am having the problem with.
Not really sure of any other information to give, but if I haven't given enough, let me know and I'll try to post more.
