Latitude E7440: Wake-on-Lan works when laptop is off, but not when it is hibernated

I have a Latitude E7440 running a clean install of Windows 10. If the computer has been shut down, I can use a Wake-On-Lan Magic Packet directed towards the Ethernet port's MAC address (as described here) to turn the computer back on. But if the computer is in hibernation, this doesn't work.

Probably related is that when the computer is in hibernation the link light on my switch is off, but when it is shut down the link light is on.

So, my question is: how can I get this laptop to keep the LAN port alive when hibernating, the same way it does when shutting down? Thanks in advance.
