MINI PCI for Inspiron 8500

Question

Does anybody happen to know of a Mini PCI Card that is compatible with my Inspiron 8500.  Dell Customer Care says that they are not sure(???).  Thanks!!!

Any mini-pci card is compatable with your 8600 - it is an industry standard.  The part numbers for the Dell-offered cards are in my sig below - call Dell Spare Parts and order one - number also below.

Yeah, any mini-pci card should work with you 8500 or 8600. I have a TM 1300 in my 8500 that I got from a friend that got it from e-bay... and it works great for me.

I bought a Cisco MiniPCI 350 card for my Inspiron 4100 on eBay and it works great.

I put the mini-pci card out of a D-Link DWL-520+ PCI card into my 4000 and it worked fine.
