My network adapters are not showing up in device manger
Hi ,
I recently formated my dell xps l502 system and installed with windows 7 Os.after that my Lan and Wifi are not working.when i did the ip config /all
it is showing only the following options.
HPrimary DNS suffix :
NodeTYpe: Hybrid
IP Routing enabled :no
WInsx Proxy Enabled : no
Please help me out.

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your reply. I installed the drivers in the same order you mentioned.but it is not working. . i have been trying all the options since two days . but no use. can you please help me out.

Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Hi Rick,
I fixed this issue by tightening the screws of my wireless card and installed the drivers again. it is working fine now.Thanks you very much for your help . i really appreciate this.
