My wireless connection works but I'm unable to get a web page to load

I've tried Firefox and IE and even Netscape with no success.

A couple of weeks ago I uninstalled a Nero suite and I think the problem stems from that, I had no issues beforehand.

I have an Inspiron 1300 laptop with XP Home. I use Zonelabs as my firewall and have turned that off to see if there's a firewall issue but it doesn't change anything.

The page launches but never loads.

Thanks in advance.

To help troubleshoot this problem, on the computer with the problem and when you are within range of your wireless network,  go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

Is there some reason that you have ipv6 installed.  If not, then try removing it by following the instructions in the following document:

Once it is gone, reboot your computer and try again.

Thanks for the reply, I checked your thread. I haven't tried disabling any add-ons yet but will.

My problem's also happening with Firefox and Netscape so I don't think the browsers are the problem.
