No LAN Internet Access

Hello Everyone, I recently just added an SSD to my PC and set up a new Windows 10 tech preview on it.

Last night when I did this I connected to the internet through LAN just like I normally do until maybe 15-30 minutes of the PC being on that the internet access disappears. My WLAN works fine but the LAN does not.

I made sure I installed the newest version of the LAN card drivers from the Dell site but the issue is still going on.

Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

cmcigas,

Although, Windows 10 will include many drivers in the OS, there are still ones that may not be native to Windows 10. Dell has not posted any Windows 10 drivers for systems as of yet.

Somehow I got it to work after about the 4th time of installing the driver. Not sure why it didnt work the first couple times but its fine now, thanks!

What model of Dell? Its possible Windows Update took care of the driver.

Looks like it wants to not work again. It is a Dell XPS 8300. Seems like whenever I download or upload a lot the LAN kicks off.
