No compatible bluetooth driver for Latitude e6430s
Will Dell be adding support for Windows 10 to the e6430s Latitude series laptops? As of right now Windows 10 is not listed as a compatible operating system for my computer so, I have no bluetooth capabilities.

Hi,
Thank you writing to the Dell Community Forum.
Latitude E6430S has been tested from Dell and confirmed that it can be upgraded to Windows 10. The Windows 10 drivers for this system should be available soon.
In the meantime, please follow the steps below to install the drivers for your system:
Method 1: Download and install the Windows 8.1 driver
If there is not a suitable Windows 10 driver, many Windows 8.1 drivers will install in Windows 10 without incident. Visit the Dell Drivers and Downloads website for your computer, and select the Windows 8.1 operating system in the dropdown provided. Be sure to have your system Service Tag available to get the drivers that are right for your computer.
Method 2: Extract and install the vendor executable
If the Dell installer package fails to install, you can attempt to install the driver using the vendor executable inside the installer package. Follow these steps:
Method 3: Manually update the driver using Device Manager
If neither of the approaches above work, you may need to manually update the driver. To do this, perform these steps:

I have tried all of these methods and I even checked the drivers page for the most recent update. There was a release for Windows 10 compatible drivers, however, the problem is that every time that I run the Bluetooth driver, it finishes by telling me to "Activate Bluetooth using Wireless Switch". I have tried turning the airplane mode switch on and off, but that does nothing. There is no option in my settings menu for activating Bluetooth so I can't go there to activate it. Also, no Bluetooth device appears in my Device Manager, despite the fact that I used to have Bluetooth on Win 7 and 8.1.

Thanks for the post! I would first suggest making sure your BIOS is up to date with the latest released on the Dell support site: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04 and making sure that the Bluetooth device is enabled in your systems BIOS.
If Bluetooth stopped working around the time of a software installation or update try uninstalling / rolling back the operating system installation to a time you knew the device worked properly, also testing the device in safemode with networking should also help to pin down if software is interfering with functionality.

My BIOS has been up to date since the update came out. I have enabled, disabled, and re-enabled it several times. Nothing has worked. Every time I run the installer afterwards, I get stuck at this screen
I can't move past it, because the only switch there is, is the airplane mode switch, and this does nothing.
