Optimum connections for 1510 Wireless Card

I have a new Belkin Wireless N+ Router.  By downloading the new driver for my Studio 1735 laptop with 1510 Mini-card I was able to get the connectionfrom 54 to 144 mbps.  Are there any card/router settings that I can tweak to get closer to the max of 300 mbps?  Unfortunately, I do have several other "G" devices connecting to the router as well, such as a printer, an access point for Direct TV and my Blu-Ray Player, but none of those are "actively" downloading/consuming bandwidth right now.

Would really appreciate it if someone could tell me any config settings I might change, other options I have, or should I just shut up and be happy I'm getting what I am.
