Suddenly lost ability to connect to internet, wired and wireless. Inspiron B130
Wireless and wired connectivity had not been a problem until very suddenly 2 days ago my computer stopped connecting. The wireless radio seems to work fine, and it finds the IP address without any problems, but I can't log on to any site, even when I use a wired connection to plug into a hub. I have an Inspiron B130, so it's an older machine, but has been working fine until now. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could possibly be a MS update issue. Suggest try to use system restore to roll back a couple of days to a time you know it was working.
Remember you cannot hot plug into a hub or router. you must have the computer off while connecting.
