Saurabh,

Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

On the Inspiron E1505, Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER, and also run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

What virus program and firewall is installed?

Saurabh,

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.

Try these tweaks....

Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.

Click on advanced. Look for Antenna Diversity. Change it from Auto to Aux

Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

Hi Rick,

I installed latest drivers. Also unchecked the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power. Power saving mode is with Maximum Performance. Then I tried to connect but not working.

Is there anything else to do ?? What does Vista support to WPA, WPA2, WEP? Is there any problem with connection of TPLink router and Vista??

Thanks for your patience..

Saurabh
