WiFi stopped working after bios A11 update
I updated my Dell Vostro 3550 Windows 7 Bios to version A11, and when the laptop rebooted, the wifi stopped working?
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi Petelon,
Welcome to the Community.
Please reinstall the wireless network driver which will detect the wireless card. To update the wireless driver on your laptop click the link mentioned below:
Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer (32-bit or 64-bit).
Please update the latest version of driver available.
Also, ensure the wireless card is enabled in BIOS.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Petelon,
Thank you for the reply.
Restart the computer and the moment it starts start tapping the F2 key to boot the computer to BIOS.
Select Advanced > Integrated NIC > Enable.
Press F10 to save the settings.
Once the settings are saved, press ESC to exit.
Thanks & Regards

I tried what you suggested, but it was already enabled. It didn't solve the problem.
I then decided to try a restore to the Dell factory image, however this. Hasn't worked either.
Also now I can't connect to the router even with a cable
Any ideas?

Problem now solved.
I had to uninstall the driver first, I then windows scan for new hardware and the wireless adapter was now found.
Finally I updated the driver to the latest version
Thanks
