Wifi - Association Fail

Hi all,
I have a Dell Latitude with Windows 7 (64 Bit) and I face the following problem when I try to connect to the router:
Connection status summary Connection started at: 2012-11-18 20:30:17-526
Profile match: Success
Pre-Association: Success
Association: Fail
Security and Authentication: Not started

Unfortunately, this is not a router error since I have the same issue with other routers.
I face this error when I'm moving more than 3-4 meters from the router, while my mobile and any other laptop are connected to the router.

I would really appreciate any help given regarding this topic.

Thanks,
George

George,

Make and model of your wireless router and the type of security you're using? What channel?

What virus program and firewall are you using?

Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

George,

A couple of things.

I see you have a valid ip address.

I don't know much about Microsoft forefront endpoint protection 2012, but check the firewall settings.

I prefer using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11.

Does this system use Dell Control Point?

What happens if you let Windows manage your connection? How to start Wireless Zero Configuration using Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8
