Wireless Connections

I have an XPS ONE coming and was told I needed a wireless router with cable modem for my broadband

connection. Now, since this computer has a TV tuner installed, can someone tell me exactly what I'll need

in order to transmit my TV signal from my living room to where my computer will be. Do I need two

identical routers?

Thanks once more!

TV has nothing to do with your wireless. You need an actual tv cable or antenna connection, just like your tv. If you have cable broadband Internet, you can split the signal to your cable modem and tv card.

Thanks for your response,

My broadband cable comes in to the computer but it only supplies internet. My TV is in the living room with a

DVR. I was hoping I could connect my living room TV with the connection on the back of my new Dell

XPS ONE, wirelessly. I have to buy a router for the computer and if I need two, I wanted to know before I order

the wireless router.

Thanks,
