Wireless connection disconnects

I have a wireless Linksys router, and have a Dell Inspiron 1525 that has never had any problems connecting to the internet. If it ever does, a simple 10 sec unplugging of the router corrects it. I just bought a new laptop that I received yesterday, a Dell Inspiron N7010. I turned it on and it asked me for the password to connect to the wireless internet, that I have protecting my wireless router. I entered the password, and ever since then, if both laptops are on, the wireless shuts off on both laptops and I can not access the internet. period. If I shut off one of the laptops then, doesn't matter which one, the wireless will connect again on the laptop that is on. I am not sure how to fix the problem, because I want both laptops to be able to use the internet at the same time.

Boomer714,

Sounds like both comouters bare using the same ip address. Do you have them set for DHCP or did you give them an ip address?
