Wireless showing as G rather than N
I have an Inspiron 1764 laptop with a DW1520 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini card. In my wireless access point I am showing a wireless G connection from this laptop, while all the other wireless devices on the network show a wireless N connection. Is there a setting I should be looking at that might determine whether the device uses a wireless G or N?

From my previous notes, the Dell Wireless 1520 (11agn) WLAN Half-Height mini-Card should connect on either 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz. It looks like it has dual frequencies.
Look in device manager, advanced and see what settings you have listed.
