XPS9000 No Connectivity after Reboot problem

When I do a hard reboot or cold startup on my XPS9000 with Windows 7, The network card fails to connect to the internet but still obtains and IP Address from my router. If I manually disable and re-enable the card, I get connectivity back immediately.

When I hybernate my machine, the next time it restarts I am able to get online with out doing the same as above. Can anyone provide an explanation or a solution to getting online after a reboot?
