bluetooth not working

i have bought  XPS L502X.Can anybody tell me how its bluetooth will start working.The radio signal capturing is "on"but still not working..plz hel

Start, all programs, accessories, right click on command prompt, left click run as administrator. Type

 

systeminfo

 

Hit enter at the bottom you'll see your network cards installed.

Yes, you do not have a bluetooth adapter. You could use a USB Bluetooth adapter.

Start, in search type

 

bttray

 

click on it. This should put the bluetooth icon in the system tray, near clock.

 

You can also try...

 

Start, control panel, windows mobility center and make sure it's enabled there.

i tried that "bttray option" but it is not working and moreover the bluetooth does not appear in windows mobilty center .What does that mean?????

kindly suggest me what to do as the bletooth is not in my" windows mobilty center"

anum,

 

Go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag number. Original configuration. Look there to see if you have bluetooth on your system.

 

Also try running Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and post the rest of the information back here. The list should tell me if it is installed or not.

Hi, I have the same problem. I bougth my laptop this january, but some day I can not use de bluetooth, I did the things yo did, until search de original configuration and this it wath appears:  RM948 Card, Wireless, Internal Bluetooth, 365, Small Form Factor, Notebook . Now what is the next move??

pudgy one i also need help regarding windows reinstallation.....

my question is that Can I  reinstall original windows without any cost in my laptop if the windows get infected with virus?i do have the product key but not the windows original CD...
