I have a dimension 8300, replaced hard drive, installed windows XP and drivers from DELL provided cd's. Everything seems to work fine except I cant connect to dsl.
I dont have any yellow interogation marks in device manager.
Under Network Adaptors, I have : Intel(R) PRO/100 VE nerwork connection (in properties, 'this device is working properly')
I tried reinstalling the DELL provided driver and disabling / enabling device; no luck
The LAN icon is visible only when my DSL cable is disconnected
Any sugestions? please
