error message
After I booted and tried to dial in to my isp, the following message appeared:
The device driver for the BCM V.92 56K modem is preventing the machine from entering standby. If the problem persists you may need to update the driver.
What does this mean and if I do need to update a driver how do I do that?

Without knowing what notebook model you have, you can check to see if there is a newer driver for the modem on your notebook by selecting your notebook model and choose Drivers & Download: http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs
PS. Modem driver can be found in the Communication Drivers category
