inspiron 1100 wireless internet

I want to be able to access the internet, anywhere in my house without hunting down a phone jack. What do I need to do this?

Head over to your local Staples Store and check out the new V-Tech telephone that incorporates blue tooth technology into a USB plug that will connect to the telephone base unit that has a modem installed inside. Cost US $249.99. Hope this helps.

Or get an SMC SMC7004AWBR or D-Link DI-713P router - both support an external modem via a 9-pin RS-232 port and dialing the modem when you request an access to the internet.  They also have a built-in print server - just hook the printer to the router with the 25-pin cable, load a driver on the computers, and print to the printer from anywhere in the house.
