I reinstall windows xp on my dell laptop. everything goes well except for the wireless. i see a yellow mark on network controller under other devices on the device manager.
i am able to connect through the wire, but not wireless
please help me find solution on how to get the driver
Did you install the drivers in the correct order? Make sure to install the Chipset drivers first, Video drivers next and then install the Wireless drivers.
The Dell Support site has two True Mobile drivers listed under the category Network. Install the True Mobile 1150 Series Mini-PCI Card and check if that resolves the issue.

Please post back with the results.
it is still not working.
Actully, I can't see anything related to True mobile in the device manager.
I just see under" other device" "network controller with yellow mark on it.
I don't know how to fix this problem
Can u plz tell me another way to fix this problem?
ggghhh and tanel545,
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

after installing the os, everything else were installed automatically, except for the network controller.
so what should i do now? do i need to reinstall the os again and start from scratch???
and what to do if the drivers are installed automatically???
Install the PCTel Modem driver using this link:
After the driver is installed, restart the system and check under Device Manager if you still see the Yellow exclamation mark.
Please let us know if the issue is resolved.
