Fibra não funciona com o Switch em modo gerenciável

Tenho um switch 2824 e quando ativo o modo gerencial dele a porta fibra para de funcionar, mas ao voltar para o modo não gerencial a porta comunica normalmente.

Tem que fazer alguma configuração para essa porta funcionar em modo gerencial?

Como vai? Tudo bem?

Fernando sua pergunta é muito boa por que depende de outras variáveis para se levar em considereção.

Primeira coisa para tratarmos é a variável de qual GBIC está sendo utilizada neste caso. Precisamos validar se o transceiver SFP que você está utilizando é homologado e tem suporte para este modelo de switch e o outro com o qual este switch está sendo conectado.

Outra variável é se você está utilizando as portas combo quando está em modo gerenciado, ou seja, as últimas portas de par-trançado não podem estar conectadas quando se usa as portas de fibra.

Mais uma outra variável, Fernando, é se no modo gerenciado existe alguma configuração para as portas de fibra que podem deixá-las desabilitadas.

Por favor, Fernando, elimine todas estas variáveis para podermos determinar se é algum problema físico ou não.

Dell: Qual GBIC está sendo utilizada?

R: TPLINK, no modo não gerenciável funciona 100% e se liga a um 2848 também com um tplink

Dell: Você está utilizando as portas combo de par-trançado?

R: Não, se não também não funcionaria no modo não gerenciável.

Dell: No modo gerenciado existe alguma configuração para as portas de fibra que podem deixá-las desabilitadas:

R: Só ativei o modo, não tem regras ou configurações ainda

Muito obrigado pelo retorno com tantos detalhes, Fernando.

Realmente podemos ver que o firmware está atualizado e não possuímos nenhuma configuração que justifique a porta ficar desabilitada (não há nada no spanning-tree, LAG, ou outra config).

Com certeza o problema está na GBIC de outro fabricante.

Muitas vezes elas funcionam ok. Mas o comportamento é sempre imprevisível e não temos como dar suporte para outro fabricante, Fernando. :emotion-6:

Você pode adquirir um GBIC homologado Dell com alguma revenda parceira Dell ou diretamente com o nosso comercial.

Minha grande questão não é não funcionar, e sim por que funciona no modo não gerenciavel.

O que muda na configuração para ele parar de funcionar quando se ativa o gerenciamento .

No fórum americano tem um post com o mesmo erro e também sem solução mas ele usa gbic Dell no dele

Belo questionamento, Fernando.

Contudo, ainda sigo lhe dizendo o mesmo: o comportamento de uma gbic não-homologada é imprevisível.

No caso que você mencionou do fórum em inglês, acredito que não funcionava também pelo mesmo motivo: provavelmente se trata de uma gbic Dell - é verdade - mas não uma homologada para este modelo de switch.

Para reforçar esta premissa, segue abaixo a lista dos modelos homologados para o PowerConnect 2824:

Se você conseguir uma GBIC "genérica" de outros fabricantes que obedeça exatamente estas especificações, pode ser que funcione conforme esperado. Porém a Dell não pode suportar, naturalmente.

E tem lógica de ser assim, Fernando. Pensa comigo: você já tentou usar caixa de marchas de um modelo de fabricante em outro carro de outro modelo de fabricante? Isto é impensável, não é mesmo?! Ainda que você seja um engenheiro e mecânico brilhante e consiga fazer funcionar, você acha que alguma assistência técnica vai lhe prestar serviço em garantia?! :emotion-5: Então, Fernando, o comportamento de um SFP+ não original é imprevisível. Sendo assim, não há como darmos suporte. :emotion-2: "Em mais de 20 anos nesta indústria vital" eu já vi SFP’s ´genéricas’ funcionarem, mas nunca obtive suporte do fabricante do switch quando precisei.
