Buying my 5th or 6th Dell Computer Since 1995 and Having Second Thoughts...
I just went to the dell site (www.dell.ca) and tried to customize a computer. First of all, pop-up box shows up and asks if I want to run script... I have to keep clicking on yes many times to get to another page, it's so annoying that eventually I give up. So, I call Dell and I'm connected to some guy, he puts me on hold for 10-15 minutes. Once I speak to him, he does not understand what I am talking about and he only asks me which computer I want to buy. I explained to him the problem... and then I'm disconnected. OK, I click on other Dell support options--and it's amazing, but the pages do not load! I tried refreshing them, click on links, even try to do it through Google and nothing! Finally I find a telephone number--it says I can call this number till 9 pm on Sundays, but it's only 8:20--yet I'm told the office is closed. I tried to find ANY email address to send a message to Dell, but to no avail.
Wow... since 1995 I've bought 5 or 6 computers and I'm planning to buy another one, but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my very short buying experience today--the webpage experiences problems, support is closed, I get disconnected, I cannot load the page that supposedly shows Dell emails.
I just don't know if I should buy Dell... what IF I have a technical problems down the road? Will I get the same level of customer service? Is my experience just a fluke or something normal?

Tor_Can,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
To enable/dsiable script debugging in Internet Explorer follow the steps below.
In IE click on Tools-Internet Properties-Advanced. You can then look for the "Enable Script Debugging" in internet explorer and place a checkmark in the box or remove the checkmark.
