If there's a simple solution, someone please help me.

I just received anew laptop.  I set up the user name and added a password and verified the password.  When I went to actually log in, i get an error saying incorrect password.  AFter I put it in a couple of times a reset your password line came up.  I clicked on that and it said  I needed a USB drive which I had and inserted which in turn brought up a screen for a Reset password wizard.  Then it said to use the disk I created to reset my password.  I never created a disk.  I don't know what to do to get in the computer now or to reset the password.  IF there is a simple sollution, someone please help me.

The easiest solution, since this is a new PC, is to use the Dell Recovery Partition on the hard drive, accessed by F8 at initial bootup.  This will restore the PC to the original Factory condition and allow you to "start over".   HERE is the Dell instructions on using the automated Recovery.
