(Redirected) Touch screen upgrade e6420

Hi, i'm new to the forum so please be gentle. I have a Dell e6420 i7 nvidia4200 and a samsung evo pro 1tb. I've purchased a brand new LG HD touch screen and installed it, the picture is much better but i'm having a real difficult time getting the touch to work! What i did to obtain the correct driver i sent a message to a seller on eBay who is selling a touch screen model and asked them for the service tag in hope i could get the drivers from the dell website but... When i try to install them it says it can't install because my laptop is not x86, I managed to get the Human interface running via administrative tools/services but there are no options to start the usb interface? Do i need a new ribbon for the screen (one that supports touch) or are all the ribbons the same? does anyone know of a work around please? i would be eternally grateful.

P.S i'm happy to donate a "finders fee" if someone can find me the correct driver or information to get it working :emotion-2:
