Upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista

I have an Ispiron 530  has a partitioned "D" drive labeled as Recovery.  I plan on doing a clean install of Windows 7.  During the install process it asks you if you want to remove the partition that is labled Recovery.  Is there any reason to keep the Recovery partition?  I was under the assumption that the only reason this partition was there was in case I would want to do a system restore.  There is also a small partition for EISA sonfiguration; any reason to keep this?

I would delete the 'recovery' partition as it's for Vista restore.   The small EISA partition, I would keep as it has Dell Diagnostics on it and allows you to run diagnostics from the hard drive and not having to use the Dell Drivers and Utilities disc.
