What happened to my post?

I started a discussion post this afternoon about 3 hours ago or so, and don't see it anywhere.  There is no hyperlink under My Posts in my profile so i can't click on that, I haven't received any emails saying my post has been removed, it's just not there.  I don't want to repost the same thing twice but I don't know who or where to inquire about issues related to my specific account.  I am going to try here and see if anyone knows who can help me find out where my post went.  It was my first post and I just created my account today, maybe there is a review/waiting period?  It says I have one post but nothing to click on and I don't see my post anywhere when I look for it.
