XPS 430 32bit windows vista OS, Canit be Upgraded to 64bit
I just bought my system without realising that the system will be installed with a 32-bit. I emailed customer service before the sysytem was delivered but I was told to wait till it arrive and ask after.

You can use Vista 64 but from what I recall from other posts on the Microsoft OS, you can't use an "upgrade" version to 64 bit. You will need a full version and have to do a complete install (including formatting the hard drive).
Do your "homework" before actually upgrading. e.g. have all the Dell Vista 64 bit drivers (or video card vendor's 64 bit drivers) and make sure any peripherals or software that you MUST run is 64 bit compatible. Don't upgrade and then find out something you MUST HAVE will not work.
