Trying to reset factory settings without Disk
Hello;
I have a Dell Dimension 2400, I am getting ready to sell the desktop but I need to reset the factory settings. Problem is I don't have the disk to do it with.
I was told I could download them, but I have no idea where to go or what to look for. Can anyone help me please?

Hello,
I doubt that your restore option for that old system will work, but here are the instructions.
But, you can order a set of disks for your system for free from here. You will need to do a clean install using the disks provided.
