R720 iDrac Enterprise Lizenz lost after updates

Hello Dell Support,

over a year i have updated the firmware of your R720 and after that the enterprise licence for the idrac7 was lost. Now i needed the "Konsolenvorschau" and rembered that....

How can i recover that licence?

Hi,

 

please let me know what happens before you lost the license.

In general, a firmware upgrade does not remove the license information.

Additionally please send me the service tag of this system in a private message.

Hello, one of our servers encountered an error during the last update of the IDRAC and Lifecycle Controller. Since then, the IDRAC can no longer be started or reset. Is there any way to get the license file? Unfortunately I didn't make a backup of this.

if you contact us with your Service TAG we could restore the original Service TAG brought license.

We lost the iDRAC license when applying the recommended "iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller v. 2.65.65.65" update to a PowerEdge R520. A rollback to the previous version 1.40.40 didn't restore the license. I'd send a PM, but the link is not working. Is there another way to get in touch? Thanks!
