OMIVV 4.1 Bare Metal Deployment - Add-In NIC?
Hi All,
I have managed to get everything running as expected - however, when I try to do a bare metal deployment, I get prompted for the NIC to use for management activities.
I can only select from the 4x on-board 1GbE NICs, the 10GbE Intel X520 add-in card does not show up as an option - however, this is where all management VLANs live.
The X520 shows up in the server inventory as expected and my other ESXi hosts are all using this card for network connectivity - is there some filtering applied to NICs that OMIVV presents for selection?

Thanks for the details on the post.
Can you help us identify how that NIC card shows up in the iDRAC hardware inventory and share the details back so that we can assist you (sample screen).

Hello Myles,
OMIVV supports only Onboard NIC / LOM for OS deployment.
