OMIVV5 Not working with VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 13006603
Hi everyone,
We are running OMIVV5 with VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 13006603.
Deployment compliance is everything green, but within the "Configuration Compliance" & "Management Compliance" they keep on saying 'Non-Compliant'.
Checked the following things:
Host Credential Profile --> all servers are part of this
CSIOR --> is enabled
SNMP Trap --> SNMP agent is enabled (just to verify, is this the correct thing mentioned with SNMP trap?)
WBEM Configuration --> ESX is running this service
iDRAC Firmware Version --> 3.34.34.34
iDRAC License --> OpenManage Enterprise Advanced
Any thoughts?

What server model is ESXi installed on, and what firmware does the host have for the BIOS and iDRAC? Looking at the manuals, it looks like this could be a factor.

Hi KPN,
May I know few more details about this issue :
If migrated from OMIVV 4.x
Which version of 4.x OMIVV is migrated from ?
What was the compliance status of the status at 4.x ?
6. Any Error/Warning is seen at user facing logs.
Regards,
Vineeth

Hi KPN,
Thank you for the details.
Screenshots shows that OMIVV is flagging hardware configuration drift.
Looks like Cluster profile associated with cluster has system profile included and drift detection job has identified few hardware configuration drift for hosts at cluster.
If the intention is to baseline the hosts at cluster to specific hardware configuration (As configurated at system profile), have a look into drift details and make necessary changes.
Changes can be with configuration mentioned at system profile or with all hosts hardware configuration.
If the intention is not to baseline the hosts at cluster to specific hardware configuration, you can remove system profile from cluster profile.
Please refer OMIVV 5.0 User Guide for more details about Cluster Profile and Configuration Drift.

Vineeth
