32 Bit Recovery Disk

Purchased Optiplex with 64 bit Win 10, after testing discover that application is not compatible, need to get Win 10 32 bit instead. Does license allow this type of downgrade? If so, how could I go about getting a recovery disk. Recovery USB method only allows download of the 64 bit version that was shipped with computer. Thanks in advanced.

The version of Windows 10 will not matter. The following link will guide you to the media creator tool and addresses 32 bit install procedures.

Are you sure about 32 bit though as 32 bit Windows 10 will only support 4 GB of RAM in your system?

NEWER UEFI systems DO NOT SUPPORT 32 bit versions of windows Even in Legacy mode.  Worse CLASS 3 uefi has no CSM/LEGACY mode so it will only work with SECURE BOOT 64 BIT end of story.

ATI, NVIDIA, INTEL etc dropped support for X86 windows some time ago.

The dell recovery media tool DOES NOT have a 32 bit image.

Nvidia Game Ready drivers will no longer actively support 32-bit operating systems or older graphics cards.

You wouldn't need Dell installation software for this.

Easy reference if there's a next time:  Please remember Optiplex model #.  Size wasn't needed this time (MT, DT, SFF, or USFF), but it usually helps.
