755 MT, keyboard weirdness in BIOS

When in the BIOS, the USB keyboard that I have, which works fine on the computer that I am talking to you guys on now, will jump around on a single key stroke in the direction that I have pressed. So it is skipping options entirely. Any idea why it is doing that? And the computer is on BIOS A10 if that matters

Re: Optiplex 755 mini tower, keyboard weirdness in BIOS

Try a different
- USB Port
- Plain/generic wired-usb keyboard

See where problem follows.

Re: Optiplex 755 mini tower, keyboard weirdness in BIOS

I just bought it and I cant do anything because of the keyboard issue. Since the keyboard is doing this, I can not flash the BIOS, and unfortunately it does this in all ports. Though it works in my main rig. I also unfortunately do not have another keyboard to test out on it yet. I search this issue and it seems this would be a lot more common, but it isnt. There is next to no information on this issue at all

The keyboard is bad and or you have corrupted hard drive.

Bios can be updated with boot floppy without any hard drive installed.
