9010, M9KCM motherboard, GPU compatibility?
Hello, I have a Dell Optiplex 9010 and I am trying to get a new graphics card. I currently have a AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Card, but it is at the end of its life and I need a new graphics card. Can anyone tell me how compatible the Dell Optiplex 9010 M9KCM motherboard and/or the Dell Optiplex 9010 is with most graphics cards? Thank you and have a great day!

DELL M9KCM System Board LGA1155 Optiplex 9010 Tower
Most AMD R series cards DO NOT SUPPORT LEGACY CSM
or DOS VESA VIDEO mode 103 and therefore do not work at all.
You must use NVIDIA based card or RADEON HD 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 7000 series card.
Asus EAH6450 for example.

You can use an ASUS EAH6450 or a GIGABYTE GDDR5 GT 1030 video card.
You cannot use ANY R series Radeon card ever.

Hello, I understand what you are saying, but the graphics card I have been using on this computer for the past year/2 years is a Radeon R9 200 Series graphics card.

"Radeon R9 200" OEM Dell made card would likely work but generic Retail cards would not.

They talk about Radeon HD7000 series for MT / DT /SFF
and GT640 YG17P ONLY FOR MT.
