Are there any other monitors that fit on the P1911b mount?

I have a Dell P1911b that came as part of a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF All-in-One stand. Are there any monitors that will fit on the bracket the P1911b rests on?

Specific dell models are not universal so no.

P1911b is very old VGA monitor.

I was wondering the same thing, but I never had an easy enough chance to try. The mechanism look very similar on many Dell monitors, while some are clearly different to prevent using the stand with other screens.

It would be nice to get an answer from someone who actually tried it. Does it fit? Does the different mass of the screen have an impact on the stand.

Hi @Maho Jakobic, @Lachm,

I can tell you this - I have 2 Dell monitors.  One is a P2012Ht and the other P2014Ht.  The seller for the P2014Ht sent it with a 2012 or 2013 stand.  It still fits perfect.

As for the P1911 stand - I'm not making any guarantees here, while appearance of stands vary, looking at some P1911 monitors on eBay, the mechanism where the monitor mounts to the stand looks exactly the same as I have.  I say that with caution knowing the monitors were redesigned in 2012.

Hopefully this helps.  @Maho Jakobic - Not sure if you were speaking for the same stand?

I'm sure you might know - The first 2 digits of the model # is the size and the last 2 digits are the last 2 digits of the year (2000's).

It's easy to see photos of the backs of monitors on eBay.  I didn't check any other sites.
