What graphics cards can fit with it's power source and size (and under 300$)? I really struggled to find compatible GPUs.

Optiplex 7050 tower is tested with the following graphics card by Dell and are recommended.
•1 GB AMD Radeon R5 430
•2 GB AMD Radeon R5 430
•4 GB AMD Radeon R7 450

I should never have tried to upgrade that PC. The OptiPlex 7050 has a weak PSU (power supply unit), so I had to buy a new one (which didn't even fit inside the case), and I could only barely fit a Sapphire RX 580 into the small case. It ended up dying after two months due to overheating. If you want to upgrade a 7050, you're better off buying a whole new computer (but without a CPU) and moving the i7-7700 from the Dell to your new PC.

The OptiPlex 7050 is tiny and has a very weak, I think it's 220W, but the GT710 is low power and usually also small so it might fit, but why would you want to add a GT710 to your system? The 7050 already has multiple display output's and the GT710 is not a powerful card at all, it is only used for extra display outputs.
