Is it worthy to recycle a geforce gt 1030 2GB card in a new Optiplex 5000 i5-12500?

I recently purchased an Optiplex 5000 i5-12500 for office work and 4K video playback with a 34 HD Widescreen Monitor. I have a PNY low profile GeForce gt 1030 2GB card that I used for a while in my old Optiplex 9020. I don't play games but keep many browser windows open (and sometimes two different browsers at the same time). I teach classes online and never play games. Would the dedicated video card improve performance at all (avoid lagging or freezing when playing back HD videos) or would I do better with the Intel UHD Graphics 770 that comes with my new Optiplex?

@redxps630 is absolutely spot on with his advice. I have a self built budget unit with an i3 10100. And the GT 1030 I installed runs away in performance compared to the IGPU of the Intel CPU. I have a suggestion though for anyone considering this card as a budget GPU considering the price of graphic cards in this market. Make sure to get the version with GDDR5 VRAM.

the old discrete gt1030 still beats the newest integrated UHD770 in almost every aspect of handling video data.

particularly, core clock freq:

300 MHz (UHD770)
vs
1,228 MHz (gt1030)
309%  significantly higher core clock speed

Thank you both for your advice. I do already have the card and it is the GDDR5 VRAM version. So, I guess I will keep using it in the new Dell, rather than reselling it on ebay.
