Non Stop BSOD

For the past days I've been getting non stop bsods everyday and all I know is that it's related to nvidia because of the "nvlddmkm.sys"

Imgur: The magic of the Internet

This is a Dell Optiplex 9020 Mini Tower

CPU: i7 4790

GPU: MSI GTX 1050 ti Gaming X 4G

PSU: Dell 7VK45 365 watt

Ram: 16GB (4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz)

SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1.

I've tried multiple driver versions and no fix. The issue mainly occurs when I multi task or open video files.

I underclocked the card using msi's afterburner and I haven't got a bsod in half a hour, I'm hoping it stays like this.

I don't have specific knowledge but did a little googling around. Check out this link and this one.

The upshot is that the timeout reported in the BSOD is due to a problem with either your NVIDIA driver or the video card itself. Overheating due to overclocking or cooling issues seems to be one possible culprit, if the card is not actually failing. Not sure if (or how) you can clock it down, but you can certainly check if the fan/heat sink are clean and operating normally; you can also check the temperature of the card (presuming you have time) to see if that's an issue.

Have you tried your PC without the GPU card?
