Optiplex 745 no signal to monitor

I tried booting it up and it shows nothing.Also the pc has a oringe circle

You can remove the hard drive, install it in a USB connected interface and copy them off, if the drive is not completely corrupted.  You will need an interface unit that accepts SATA hard drives.

This is a good lesson on making backups. Not for IF they are ever needed but for WHEN they are needed.

Orange circle?  Power light on front panel?

I would suspect either the power supply or motherboard.  However, considering the age of this PC (2005 era) its not worth putting any money into.  You can buy a newer/refurbished OptiPlex that even comes with Windows 10 for around $200.

My mistake, I was looking at the diagnostics for a newer Optiplex. I assume you mean an orange circle on the power button. An orange power button means the PSU is working, but the system doesn't process data. The following posts may help. I assume you cannot run diagnostics by tapping F12 when the system starts. It is possible that the motherboard is bad. The system is getting up there in age and it might be time for a new system.
