Greetings, Recently i acquired a Dell Optiplex 7010 sff and i want to upgrade the stock 3.5" HD to a dual 2.5" HD config (to be exact it will be a 2.5" SSD and 2.5" notebook HD) i understand R494D support dual SSDs but i want to know if this caddy can also support 1 ssd and 1 2.5" mechanical HD? Expecting help from community soon thanks

It supports 2 Drives whether SSD or not as long as they are 2.5 inch.
The catch is that you need sata power splitter and another sata cable.
DELL N701D cable.

A Silverstone adapter has all the mount points of a standard 3.5" hard drive, and it's only $12 with free shipping. It holds two 2.5" devices stacked.

Excellent, as per tips, obtain a caddy adaptor add a sata power spiltter cables, works like a charm, through a little worry about the close spacing between drives causing high temperatures, but i will keep an eye on that matter
