UP271K on Optiplex 7040SFF
I just got an Optiplex 7040SFF i7 6700 configured with 2 AMD R5 340X video cards on both PCIe slots. I am now using 1 card DP port with DP to miniDP cable to run the UP2715K to 4K resolution with no problem.
Can I used the DP port of both cards using the 2 DP cables from both cards to DP1 and DP2 on the monitor to drive it to 5K resolution. I have not tried it yet as I want to confirm that it will work with no problems.... Thank you

Hi TOMSrolla,
I don't think that's going to work. The 7040SFF only ever shipped with a 180W PSU which isn't enough to properly drive two R5 340X cards (they have a TDP of 65W each)

Can I use a 1-Slot Dell Quadro P600 with 4 miniDisplayport out to drive the UP2715K to 5K resolution ? As of now I am using the DisplayPort out of the R5 340X to the miniDisplayport input of the UP2715K to drive it to 4K with no problem/

That should work, the P600 can drive 5K and it's TDP is only 40W so the 7040SFF will be able to handle it. However, it's not something I can 100% guarantee as the P600 was never tested for compatibility by Dell on the 7040.
