What stylus pen works with Optiplex 5260

I have a Dell OptiPlex 5260 with touch screen.  I know I need a passive stylus but capacitive or resistive?  I will be using with art & stitch to digitize longarm designs.  Thanks Deb

Hi @DebFxx ,

Check out the second page of the OptiPlex 5260 AIO Spec Sheet. It stated that the Targus Stylus for Capacitive Touch Devices works:

"Write accurately and comfortably with a durable stylus that won't scratch your screen. Operates with no power or software required."

Sounds good! Hopefully it helps.

  • Manufacturer part AMM01TBUS
  • Dell part A4609292

Anything that works with Iphone, IPAD, etc which is just saying your finger also works.  The pointy one from walmart works but only the blunt end. The pencil end does not work.

I don't see the sales-page mentioning it having a LCD-panel digitizer or allow the use of a active/powered stylus.

To draw/create anything intricate, you would need the above. Wacom makes affordable tablet-like peripherals or I use an Apple Pencil on an iPad-Pro. The latest (basic) iPad also now has drawing capability.
