optiplex 9010 A10

I have an All in one OptiPlex 9010 A10

It has windows 7 pro. The bios date is 2013

I want to upgrade to windows 10.

There is an urgent bios update released in Dec 2018 Version A25 but it looks like its for if an incorrect password is entered as a bios preboot. If I don't use a password at all to enter the bios do I still need to do the update.

The same bios is also listed for windows 10, if I need to apply the bios update should I update before or after I upgrade to windows 10.

I notice that there are two older bios versions available A23 and A24. Can I just use the A25 without installing version 23 or 23 first.

Thanks

BIOS updates are cumulative - include all previous updates.  If not the instructions for the BIOS update will state prerequisites.

It is best to update BIOS before installing Win 10.

I don't think there is a recovery on this model.  Its not listed but some not listed do have it.  Newer models have BIOS recovery.
