Has Oracle Support Changed Behavior with OVM 3.0?

I was talking with a customer last week and the feedback received was Oracle support is pushing back on VMware virtualization with the release of OVM 3.0? By 'pushing back' the customer meant that Oracle is trying to request more V2P with VMware virtualization. This was only one customer but I found the commentary interesting. It seems that Oracle support is trying to directly push customers away from VMware and getting paid for it, if indeed thats the case? Has anyone else experienced the same or is this simply a corner case? Happy Holidays everyone!
