Oracle ZFS and VNX2 FAST-VP
Hi All
I am about to size VNX pool to host ZFS environment.
I read in a document that a multi-tiered pool is not recommended.
Customer current configuration has ZFS configured on 600GB in raid 1+0 configuration on AMS unit and response time observed ranges from 15ms to 44 ms.
Has anybody configured ZFS on VNX and what is the best practice in term of auto-tiring, fast cache ...

As you may have received email from Claus Jorgensen, the blog Oracle ASM vs ZFS on VNX from Bart Sjerps is very informative about ZFS performance on VNX. I am doing some researching and discussing with other teams on ZFS configuration best practice on VNX, will get back to you once I got something.
