Blade Chassis Monitoring
Our Power Center server has successfully discovered all of our M1000e blade chassis using the WS-MAN protocol. However, it is not reporting any of the power, temperature, chassis or event information from the enclosures. It just says "No Data".
All of the blades servers in the enclosures (as well as all of our rack servers) have been discovered successfully using IPMI and all information is being reported correctly.
Is there anything that needs to be configured in order for Power Center to collect the chassis information properly? Some of the servers had IPMI disabled initially, so we had to enable it before Power Center could discover them. I have looked for a similar setting in the CMC web interface, but can't find out.

The current release of Power Center only offers server level monitoring and control which as you're aware is done via IPMI. One of the requirements for a future release is to also offer chassis level monitoring and control.

Many thanks for the reply. So the current release of Power Center can detect blade chassis but cannot report on any metrics from them? Do you have an estimated time frame for when this functionality will be incorporated in to Power Center?
