Dell Poweredge 830 Temps?

Hi all

Can anyone tell me how to access the temperatures on the Dell Poweredge 830 (Running Windows 2008 Server R2)

I've tried speedfan, coretemp and afew others but they all tell me my core's are 0c?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Third-party utilities won't work - they need to know how to talk to and query the BMC/ESM.  You need OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA):

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/2684/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats/Product/poweredge-830?DriverId=G2WT6&FileId=2883471492&urlProductCode=False

Download and run to extract the files, then run C:\Openmanage\windows\setup.exe.  Choose Custom and make sure that Storage Management is installed (leave ALL else as default).  Add servername:1311 or ipaddress:1311 to Intranet Zone in IE.  May require a reboot to access OMSA.  Then look under System, Main System Chassis, Fans, Temperatures, etc.
