[PERC H700 Adapter]: Firmware '12.10.0-0025' is out of date
Hello,
I want to update server's firmware and would like to know, if it is safe to do without rebooting the server and during its normal activity.
Won't it crash something ?
P.S: I'm talking about IDRAC6_FRMW_LX_R299265.BIN update file.

an idrac fw doesnt normally require a reboot, but you should plan for a reboot in case something goes wrong. Its possible a reboot may be necessary if you are making a big jump in idrac versions. I should note, your title mentions perc fw, but your file name is an idrac.

I can't find how to update only 'PERC H700 Adapter' and have found just the full firmware package..
And if You have other suggestions please let me know.
